Co-Operative Society Membership
The Share Capital of the Society consists of shares to the nominal value of one euro €1 each, issued to persons upon admission to membership of the Society. Currently, the shareholding of each person is limited to one share.
Application for admission to membership of the Society is made to the Management Committee (MC) on Form A which is set out below. Each application is considered by the MC and notice of admission or otherwise is sent to the applicant as soon as possible thereafter.
When an application for membership is rejected the Committee is not required to assign any reason for such rejection. Shares are transferable but not withdrawable.
