There is now a charge for putting advertisements on the website. The facility will be on offer to Members only. The cost is �35.00 including a photograph or �25.00 with text only. The ad will remain on the site for 4 months unless you let us know that you have bought or sold the named animal before that time. Contact Carol Barry with photos and/or text.

Guide Prices

The Society has decided to give a rough guide to prices for Registered Kerry Bog Ponies.

Minimum Guidelines:
Filly foal		Colt foal
Yearling Filly		Yearling colt/gelding
2 year old Filly		2 yr old colt/gelding
Ponies with recorded pedigrees are worth more than derogation ponies:
Filly foal with 2 generations on passport
Yearling filly with 2 generations on passport
2 Year old Filly with 2 generations on Passport
Class one mares in foal to approved class one stallion
Etc pro rata.

When buying Kerry stock, please ensure that the animal you are buying is fully registered. Please also ensure that the transfer of ownership is carried out, either by you or by the vendor. This also applies to foals. Download the Tranfer Form for change of ownership for pony or foal.

Only pure bred registered Kerry Bog Ponies will be included on our sales list.

Kerry Bog Ponies are very scarce at the moment - so get your name and address on our list as soon as possible.

CAVEAT EMPTOR! Let the Buyer Beware!

We strongly advise anyone who plans to buy a Kerry Bog Pony to do so with care and attention. In particular a purchaser should know the Rules of the KBP Stud Book and be familiar with the classes within the Stud Book. If any member of the Management Committee responds to a query and gives the name of a possible vendor, the matter becomes one solely between vendor and purchaser. The Management Committee shall not be held individually or collectively responsible for any details relating to the sale or purchase of a pony.
